Madame D. Copeland (Darlene) is an American Impressionist painter whose work bridges continents and cultures. Based in Upstate New York, Copeland is of African-German descent, a rich heritage that informs her unique artistic perspective.

Her paintings are a vivid celebration of sea life, coastal landscapes, and European culture. With a masterful command of color, she captures the radiant light, deep blue seas, and energetic atmosphere of the French Riviera, Provence, and Paris.
